OUR HISTORY

The Strata Group

The Strata Group is the realization of a vision developed by William Yerman, CEO, in collaboration with nine other Real Estate industry professionals, to make the home buying and selling process convenient, efficient and cost-effective for everyone.  There are six distinct companies:  Yerman, Witman, Gaines & Conklin Realty, Real Estate Mortgage Funding, Real Estate Title & Escrow, Strata Law, Strata Financial Services and Strata New Home Sales, with offices in Baltimore County, Federal Hill, Canton and Bel Air.

Each company exists as a separate entitiy, yet is joined under one roof to streamline the customer's experience, creating a 'one-stop-shop' structure.  The Strata Group offers an array of real estate, legal, and financial services and has the ability to provide vital assistance for clients as they navigate through transactions from the routine to the most challenging.  Every client has the ability to work with a number of professionals who are leaders of their respective industries.  Most importantly, each company's services meet the highest ethical standards of integrity, honesty and respect.

Real Estate Mortgage Funding (REMF) is committed to delivering a new standard of service and innovation to mortgage lending. Under the direction of Jimmy Yerman and Annette Walter, REMF has more than 26 years of experience and understands the value and importance of proper mortgage planning. Licensed in MD, DC, GA, FL and DE, REMF is a single source residential and commercial mortgage brokerage firm.

Attorneys Peter Burstein and William Yerman lead Real Estate Title & Escrow (RETE), a full-service real estate title firm with offices in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Delaware. Licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, DC and Delaware, RETE specializes in residential and commercial settlements.

Strata Financial Services is an independent personal financial services and corporate benefits firm.  Specializing in risk management and investment advice, Strata Financial Services works with individuals and corporations to provide solutions for all financial needs.  We offer a full range of insurance services including life, health, disability, long term care, auto, home, commercial lines and employee benefits.  In regards to investment. we work with clients to provide appropriate asset allocation for general savings, college funding and retirement.  We are available to develop a comprehensive financial plan or provide advice for only those matters which concern you most today.  Securities offered through Founders Financial Securities LLC., a Registered Investment Advisor and Member FINRA, SIPC. 

Strata New Home Sales specializes in assisting homebuilders and developers in all phases of the new home sales process.  We offer a full spectrum of expert services including product selelction for a given market area, sales management through our proprietary software and the facilitation of the entire closing process.
